ICT AS MEDIUM FOR ADVOCACY

 1. How information and communications and technology (ICT) has transformed the educational methodologies when you were in grade school and now in Senior High School.

   *ICTs can enhance the quality of education in several ways: by increasing learner motivation and engagement, by facilitating the acquisition of basic skills, and by enhancing teacher training. ICTs are also transformational tools which, when used appropriately, can promote the shift to a learner-centered environment. Technology is a powerful tool that can support and transform education in many ways, from making it easier for teachers to create instructional materials to enabling new ways for people to learn and work together.

2. Consider the following for comparison.

    A. The singing of the national anthem (form a line, sing the national anthem with conductor)

    * Way back then when we sung the national anthem we sung it with our voice and just following the teacher's beat. 

      * Now that our school have now speaker, we sung the national anthem just like before with the teacher's beat but added a music.

 

B. Concept notes

     *Then when we take concept notes we write it in our notebooks.

   * Now when we take concept notes we just take it a picture.

 C. Presentation of visual aids

     * Then when we got a report or the teacher have something to show we use manila paper or we draw or write it on the board.

     * But now when we have something to present or the teacher want to show something we use projector and tv.

  

D. Class record 

       *When we're in grade school, when the teacher record our scores , he/she write it in the class record book or bond paper.

             

       * But now  almost all the teachers records the score of their students in computer or laptop.

E.Class dismissal 

    * Then when the class is over the teachers says it or they'll hit the bell

     *Now when the class is over the electronic bell that is program well ring in its own.

F. Assignment and research

        *Then when the teacher ask us assignment or research we go to the school library and study there or search the answer in our research or assignment.

         * Now we just  go to our cellphones, computers, laptop, and search what's the answer to our assignment, and what we needed for the research.
